Last Episode
On the last episode of Y&R, Lucy drank again, and Sharon couldn’t cope after Faith & Lucy were found unconscious after an accident
Genoa City Athletic Club Dining Room
Billy sits alone and drowns his sorrows with alcohol.
He tries but can’t erase Chelsea’s confession from his mind.
Adam’s Apartment
Adam stands on the balcony and considers his options. He’s unsure what to do and looks at Chelsea’s text message again.
He makes a decision and bolts for the door.
Sally comes down the stairs and asks where he’s going.
Jazz Lounge
Traci takes Alan to the Jazz Lounge.
She hoped he would like it.
Alan does and thinks he should spend more time in jazz lounges with Traci.
She shares that she worries Alan will be bored with her hometown compared to Paris.
Alan says he’s not and is looking for his own place in Genoa City.
Traci only wants this if Alan does.
He reminds her that he’s pointed to everyone that he wants to be wherever she is.
Traci doesn’t want him to feel pressured. She wants him to reconsider everything he would be giving up outside of Genoa City.
Alan refuses to take back any of it. He claims they must have their wires crossed right now and how much he truly cares for her.
Memorial Hospital
Nick talks to an unresponsive Faith as Sharon strokes her hair.
The parents request that she wake up.
Sharon wonders what Faith hit her head on. She says they must check for internal bleeding and protect her head.
Nick doesn’t have any answers. He tries to assure an upset Sharon that they will check everything.
Sharon cries and wants to know why they are here again and why this keeps happening to them. She remembers the last time Faith was in a car wreck she had been drinking.
Again, Nick doesn’t know. He encourages Sharon not to go there. He doesn’t believe Faith would drink and drive again.
In the next bay, Daniel and Heather request the same from Lucy.
Lucy slowly awakes and wonders what happened.
The parents tell Lucy how she was in an accident with Faith.
Lucy panics and wants to know how Faith is doing.
Lucy yells out for Faith and she gradually opens her eyes.
Adam’s Apartment
Adam thought Sally was sleeping.
Sally woke to find he hadn’t come to bed yet. She wonders if everything is okay.
Adam says it’s not and he left his tablet at work. He continues his lie by making up work-related issues.
Sally is confused about why Adam can’t get it from the backup server. She wonders if something else has him upset.
Adam claims he still feels guilty over the situation with Conner.
Adam opens the door to leave and finds Billy there.
Jazz Lounge
Alan tells Traci he decided to leave Paris. He wonders where Traci’s concern is coming from.
Traci doesn’t want him to have any regrets. She says they must talk about the logistics.
He’s happy to live in NYC or GC. He asks what her preference is.
Traci wonders if their relationship would have a better chance of succeeding in NYC. She has her own complete identity there and is not tied to a family.
Memorial Hospital
Sharon and Nick are with Faith.
Faith says she thought she heard Lucy’s voice.
Daniel calls from the opposite side of the curtain and Nick moves it back.
Lucy cries and apologizes to Faith.
Heather tells Lucy not to worry about that now.
Sharon wants to know if Faith is in any pain.
Lucy says it’s all her fault and only wants Faith to be okay.
Adam’s Apartment
Billy looks past Adam in the doorway and claims he’s happy both he and Sally are home.
Sally wants to know why Billy is there.
Billy barges in and says they must talk.
Adam insists he has no time for this.
Billy says they’ve waited long enough. He accuses Adam of not being able to be a man and tell Sally the truth.
Adam plays dumb. He encourages Sally not to listen and return to bed.
Sally refuses.
Billy says Chelsea dared to be honest with him.
Adam orders a drunken Billy out.
Sally closes the door and insists Billy can stay.
Memorial Hospital
Faith insists to everyone that she is fine.
She doesn’t want to talk with Lucy right now and says they both need to rest.
Nick goes to find a doctor and Daniel follows.
Sharon closes the curtain and informs Heather and Lucy she must speak with Faith.
Faith apologizes to her mother.
Sharon says there is no need and asks if she can remember what happened.
Faith recalls Lucy texting for help. She found Lucy alone and drinking again.
Sharon hopes Faith didn’t drink.
Faith insists she didn’t.
Heather asks Lucy what she meant by everything being her fault.
Lucy informs Heather about how she snuck out and drank vodka. She says Faith really came through for her. Everything was fine until she started to get sick. Faith only reached back for a towel and that’s when she lost control.
Jazz Lounge
Alan validates Traci’s concerns.
He knows childhood plays a huge role in people’s development.
Traci agrees but claims she may have neglected her own needs for those of her family at times. She can’t believe they’ve connected as they have. She is so grateful.
They both want to give each other the world.
Adam’s Apartment
Adam tells Sally that Billy is drunk and must go.
Sally says they must hear Billy out because he is obviously upset.
Billy says he understands Chelsea’s motivation but not how Adam is continuing his lie.
Adam reminds Billy he wasn’t there. He doesn’t know what Chelsea said to Billy and orders him to stop.
Billy declares Chelsea told him everything while Adam has told Sally nothing.
Adam turns to Sally and doubles down on his lies, claiming he’s at a loss with Billy.
Billy tells Adam to be honest with Sally because she defended him the entire time. He apologizes to Sally on his way out. He regrets she had to find out like this.
Adam goes in to comfort Sally.
Sally calls him a liar.
Adam says Billy doesn’t know what he’s talking about.
Sally can’t believe Adam is proceeding with his “Billy lied” theory. She demands he tell her the truth or she’s walking out right now.
Memorial Hospital
Nick and Daniel locate the doctor.
She tells them that there are no internal injuries but wants to keep them overnight just in case. She asks Daniel if they can speak privately.
Daniel informs her it’s okay to speak in front of Nick.
The doctor informs him that Lucy has alcohol in her system. It’s a good thing Faith was the driver.
In the ER bays, Sharon sits with Faith while Heather sits with Lucy.
Faith apologies again to Sharon. She never meant for any of this to happen. She knows this must be triggering for her mother and believes this is Sharon’s worst nightmare.
Sharon insists Faith take her advice and rest.
Faith says her head is aching.
Sharon says they will take every precaution to make sure she is okay.
Jazz Lounge
Traci wonders if Alan has thought about what he will do in GC.
Alan says he will likely continue with his speaking engagements. He tells Traci that he’s considering to write a book. He insists he’s staying away from non-fiction and wants to write about his brother’s life.
Traci says how brave that is, but wonders if it’ll be good for him. She offers her support.
Alan is glad Martin is no longer a threat to anyone. He changes the topic and asks Traci to dance.
The couple laugh and dance.
Alan wants to know if she is happy now.
Traci says she is. She would like to see the view from Alan’s room.
Alan likes her thinking.
Memorial Hospital
Nick returns to Sharon and Faith.
He informs them the doctor wants Faith and Lucy to stay overnight.
Faith cries and reminds them how she hates this place.
Nick points out it’s only for one night and isn’t like last time.
Sharon looks off as she hears Daniel, Heather, and Lucy through the curtain.
Daniel shares the news with Lucy and claims it’s precautionary.
Lucy wants to know if the doctor said anything.
Daniel says they must focus on getting through the night. He says they can discuss things further when Lucy is home safely.
Lucy concludes he must know about the drinking.
Adam’s Apartment
Sally and Adam continue their blow-up.
She hates how he thinks her to be an idiot.
Adam begs her to take a moment and breath.
Sally says there are no more moments because she is done. She grabs her purse and walks to the door.
Adam stops her and claims what Billy said is true. He says he is so sorry.
Crimson Lights
Billy orders a coffee.
Chelsea enters and they lock eyes.
Billy asks about Connor. He tells her he had a few drinks before confronting Adam.
Chelsea isn’t surprised. She wants to know what happened.
Billy says it could have been worse. No punches were thrown, physically. He claims Adam didn’t seem surprised to see him.
Chelsea says she told Adam that he knew the truth.
Billy finds that very considerate of her.
Chelsea pauses to gather her words. She says she wasn’t protecting Adam. She reminds him that she shares a parenting relationship with Adam. She tells Billy that Adam feared Billy knowing because Sally would find out.
Billy tells her that Sally definitely didn’t know when he arrived. He believes she had a good idea by the time he left.
Sally won’t defend Adam’s behavior and insists she said they should be honest from the start. She regrets they weren’t.
Billy says Sally will struggle to forgive Adam for this one.
Chelsea wonders if Billy can forgive her.
Billy doesn’t know.
Memorial Hospital
Faith apologizes again to her parents.
She knows it was stupid but she only took her eyes off the road for a second.
Sharon flashes to her daughter’s previous accident.
Nick snaps Sharon back and wonders if she is okay.
Sharon says she is. She excuses herself to step out for a second. She tells them she will be right back.
Faith begs Nick to look after Sharon. She knows her mother is thinking of Cassie.
Nick reminds her of how strong Sharon is.
Sharon wobbles in the hallway and converses with Cameron.
Cameron reminds her that everything leads back to Cassie.
Adam’s Apartment
Adam attempts damage control but finally gives in. He sits on the arm of the sofa and begins telling her about that night.
Sally demands that Adam say the words because she needs to hear him say them.
Adam says he and Chelsea slept together. It was without thought or logic.
Sally reminds him of how he lied to her over and over.
Adam says he lied because he was afraid of losing her.
Sally claims Billy is right about him being a coward.
